An Evening of Passion and Brilliance with Lang Lang

2016-17 Season Gala
Tuesday, October 18, 2016

On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, The Royal Conservatory will celebrate the 2016-17 Koerner Hall concert season with a spectacular gala. An elegant pre-concert reception and three-course gourmet dinner will open the evening, followed by a concert in Koerner Hall by superstar pianist Lang Lang. After his brilliant performance, our special guest will mingle with gala guests at an exclusive champagne and dessert reception.

Lang Lang inspires millions with his open-hearted, emotive piano playing. He has been heralded as the “hottest artist on the classical music planet” by The New York Times. He is one of the world’s most prolific and highest-profile recording artists. Time magazine has included him in the “Time 100” list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. This is a once-in–a-lifetime opportunity to hear him perform live in the intimate Koerner Hall and we invite you to join us and fellow gala guests for an evening of virtuosic performance, celebration and fine dining
